Mark Stirling Joins AppZero’s Board of Directors
Server application virtualization pioneer, AppZero, on Thursday announced that Mark Stirling, Vice President, Investments, GrowthWorks Capital, was elected to AppZero's board of directors.

"Mark is a serial technology entrepreneur with a tremendous track record. We plan to use his input and guidance on our continued ground-breaking path through this transforming era of virtualization and cloud computing."

Mark has more than 25 years of C-level executive experience. He has built, operated and sold software companies in Canada and the United States. He is an internationally recognized speaker on technology, marketing and finance and he has served on advisory boards and Boards of Directors for both public and private companies. Most recently, he was Chair of xkoto Inc., a Boston-based database virtualization company that enjoyed major success in the IBM DB2TM and Microsoft SQL ServerTM markets before being sold to Teradata in May of this year.
